See anything strange here? This photo series is called Metmorfoza and it was created by Ino Zeljak, a Croatian-based student. The series explores similarities and differences between people that are connected genetically or not.
What Zeljak does is take these photos of people and intricately ‘stitch’ each one together to form a seemingly normal portrait. Sure, we can Photoshop images ourselves, but when you realize who the subjects are in each portrait, it makes you step back, then step forward for a closer look.
See if you can tell which half of the face belongs to whom: mother or daughter, brother or sister, friends or family… the results will surprise you.
