These are not actually real kids walking off the side of a building
At first glance, you might think these kids have superhero powers enabling them to casually walk up walls. But take a closer look and you’ll realize that these are actually photorealistic street art!
Norwegian street artist Anders Gjennestad, more popularly known as ‘Strok’, created this mural on the sides of an elementary school building at the Memorie Urbane Art Festival in Terracina, Italy. Riding on top of a lift, Strok used hand-cut multi-layered stencils to paint the deceptive images, masterfully adding in depth, perspective, and shadowing to complete the illusion. Unsuspecting passers-by are sure to get a surprise if they stumble upon a realistic artwork such as this!
You could see more of Strok’s work on his website.
