Is it fair to say that nobody loves to wait at bus stops? Fortunately for the dozens of Krumbach, a village of inhabitants in Austria, their wait is made a little more appealing with seven rather unusual bus stops in their midst. These rather photogenic seven are design collaborations by internationally renowned architects such as Wang Shu, Sou Fujimoto and Smiljan Radic with local architects and craftsmen.
Together, they have developed such little niche spaces bursting with personality for their users to sit in and even pontificate a little while waiting for the next bus to take them along life’s journey.
