Now, this has to hurt! Dancer Sara Mapelli wears what she calls a ‘bee-blouse’ made up of 12,000 honey bees for this exotic dance performance. She uses a special pheromone oil equivalent to the scent of 100 queen bees to attract her ‘bee-blouse’, which she wears for up to two hours at a time.
And in case you were wondering (and we were too), she HAS been stung. Multiple times. But apparently she considers it to be a type of healing. Ok, ok. Each to their own, I guess.
