Guy Whitby is back with some seriously awesome keyboard art
Back in 2012, we showed you Guy Whitby’s keyboard art with famous faces. Now this Aussie artist is back with some extraordinary art that takes us straight back to the 80s with cassette radios, chunky mobile phones and boom boxes.
Whitby actually creates all these pieces by using buttons found from various electronics, such as keyboards, calculators, typewriters, and phones. Whitby, aka WorkByKnight (WBK) uses photo manipulation techniques to produce each piece, making sure to fill each pixel with a different key or button. Impressive, right? Take a look at the images below. You might not be able to figure them out up close, but if you step back and look at these pieces, you’ll be taken straight back to the 80s.
