Wow, we never knew taking an afternoon nap was so badass. Scientists have now proven that the serial nappers among us are really living life dangerously. According to the researchers who studied 16,000 people in England over a period of 13 years, those aged 40-79 who napped daily at less than an hour each time, were 14% more likely to die over a 13-year period, compared to those who went napless. Those who napped beyond an hour were 32% more likely to die. However, the team suggested further studies to look at sleep apnea too, a condition that not only makes people sleepy during the day, but is also linked to greater risk of dying.
