I guess elemental-themed weddings are the ‘in’ thing nowadays. Just a month after the internet went crazy over the raging wildfire photos of photographer Josh Newton, comes a similar wedding photo shoot. But this one’s much cooler – like literally!
In Juneau, Alaska, newly-weds Torsten Ernst and Sarah Morin had to kayak and trek the side of a mountain with their photographer Chris Beck in order to reach the Mendenhall Glacier ice cave. There they took these stunning and almost-surreal photos.
‘Taking a picture requires more than pressing a button,” Beck says on his Facebook page. ‘It’s about telling a story. Sarah and Torsten have been good friends over the years, and their relationship is all about Juneau. As avid outdoors people, what could be more symbolic than a photo shoot of a bride in an ice cave?’
