28-year-old Susan Brennan of Michigan won herself the top prize of US$10,000 when she took part in a wedding dress design competition held in New York City. But it was no ordinary wedding gown as it required 20 rolls of toilet paper and lots of tape, glue and thread to make it work.
She named her winning dress Romance on a Roll and the full-length papery gown could be detached at the waist to reveal a shorter skirt inside. An excellent idea should the bride regret her sartorial choice at the very last minute and decides to make a dash for it.
