Superheroes are humans too, you know. Just like you and me. They eat, they sleep, they get hurt, and occasionally, they tend to become useless, good for nothings with no direction in life. ‘Couch Potatoes’ is a series by Pixar director Angus MacLane, wherein he imagines our favorite pop-culture characters to be nothing more than your average bum. He uses LEGO blocks to recreate superheroes like Batman, Iron Man, RoboCop, and Optimus Prime, all enjoying a box of pizza or a glass of beer.
But hey, after a night of fighting crime, I think these guys deserve a day off or two or three. You can see more of MacLane’s amazing LEGO creations over on his Flickr account.
