27-year-old Lee Weir from New Zealand grew up under a household that banned him from watching his beloved TV series, The Simpsons. ‘I was never allowed to watch The Simpsons growing up as my dad was a real life Ned Flanders’, he recalls. ‘He wouldn’t let me watch as it depicted the father and the head of the household to be a buffoon.
So what did he do to exact revenge on his old man? He got 41 tattoos of Homer Simpson on his left arm, setting a new record for most tattoos of the same cartoon character! The tats took over 25 hours to finish and features different versions of Homer, including a The Hulk Homer, Zombie Homer, Donut Homer, and Grim Reaper Homer.
And if you think all Homer could do is mess things up, you’re wrong. Weir abstained from booze for over a year, using the money instead to get more Homers. Woo hoo!
